Sr Business Improvement Specialist

Maintains and improves process workflows to identify, gather and report progress for Logistics performance. Coordinates between Operations, Logistics Analytics, Transport Accounting, Internal Audit and other corporate functions to support executive leadership team performance reporting. Supports performance management by overseeing Project Management Office (PMO) processes such as KPI dashboards, project tracking and business unit scorecard maintenance to ensure appropriate Business Unit accountability. Conducts and supports business improvement projects targeting EBITDA generation, process efficiencies and integration activities to meet strategic priorities.


  • Provides monthly status update of multiple PMO reports for project portfolio, forecast vs actual and progress against milestones.
  • Creates and develops Power BI dashboard metrics for monitoring business performance. Monitors and analyzes data and trends to identify potential opportunities, needs, issues, and problems that could impact business results based on specific Business Improvement initiatives.
  • Builds relationships cross functionally to understand operational impacts and develop efficient processes touching Logistics (e.g. Internal Audit).
  • Drives reporting and improvement projects to enhance financial and operational performance for the Logistics organization.
  • Develops qualitative and quantitative material into concise executive presentations related to projects and/or activities.
  • Utilizes Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies to support and coach project execution.


  • Minimum undergraduate degree in business, finance, engineering or equivalent required
  • Minimum 4 years in experience in data analytics and/or project management
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Microsoft Project
