Senior Solutions Architect - Enterprise Content Management

Summary:

The ECM Solution Architect will be part of the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Team. The ECM Team is primarily responsible for defining, establishing, implementing and deploying processes and solutions related to document capture, retrieval, management and archival for the SAP program.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) related to the ECM Records Management (RM) domains, e.g. classification, retention, preservation, disposition, as well as associated technology components, e.g. OpenText Content Server, Archive Link, Extended ECM, Document Pipeline, Enterprise Scan, etc.
  • Lead and/or participate in ECM/Document Archiving related design workshops, gathering and understanding the business requirements, translating/mapping those requirements to business process solutions, aligning and rationalizing disparate requirements, identifying/managing gaps and addressing resultant change impacts.
  • Leverage SME to collaborate with business partners in the development of new ECM/Document Archiving related business processes aligned with best practices.
  • Collaborate on ECM/Document Archiving related technical blueprint deliverables capturing key requirements and process designs.
  • Collaborate with Tesoro business areas, IT colleagues, team members and cross-functional teams in application design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of OpenText ECM solutions.
  • Define/consult on ECM/Document Archiving related WRICEF requirements including workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
  • Create/establish the ECM/Document Archiving related configuration and analysis needed to enable business processes.
  • Work closely with ECM Team, Process Teams, and Basis Team to define test scenarios and obtain client sign-off.
  • Update process related configuration of the ECM/Document Archiving technology solutions in response to new releases and patches.
  • Support the implementation of the global SAP / OpenText content management solution, across all SAP processes areas.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or similarly related field of study or 4 or more years of directly related experience required.
  • Experience implementing OpenText as an archival solution
  • 2 or more years of content management/document management experience in a technical role.
  • 2 or more years of experience leading global SAP document archiving implementations.
  • 3 or more years of experience implementing OpenText as an archival solution for SAP.
  • In-depth knowledge of Document Archiving, Document Management, Configuration Management, Document Lifecycle, and Document Workflow technologies and associated best practices.
  • Broad technical knowledge of SAP business objects across all SAP modules.
  • Prior experience addressing the retention management and dispositioning of archived content.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in configuring packaged applications running on Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
  • Ability to develop and evaluate alternative technical solutions to best meet the needs of the business.
  • Excellent procedural and regulatory documentation abilities.
  • Strong communication (oral/ written) and presentation skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
  • Detail oriented, the ability to be self-directed, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
