Senior Integrations Developer

Summary:

This position is responsible for enhancing, developing, and delivering complex technical integrations between software solutions to facilitate, automate, or enable end-to-end business processes. Partnering with business analysts, business architects, and solutions architects to design, develop, and implement technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with other’s to design, develop, implement, enhance and deliver complex solutions and adheres to Tesoro’s development standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Works closely with business analysts, business architects, and solution architects to understand business processes and document requirements to design technical solutions.
  • Coordinates with application support teams on technical aspects of operations such as solving production problems, making enhancements to existing functionality, and fixes bugs in the application.
  • Responsible to exchange ideas for better overall architecture.
  • Develops proto-types and presents to stakeholders as solution options as well as for purposes of introducing new technologies and development techniques in environment.
  • Addresses escalated support issues from application support teams to assist in identifying, and resolving production support issues as assigned and provides recommendations to management, peers, and application support teams.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business Administration required.
  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience
  • Minimum of 3 years software engineering, programming or system analysis with several SAP modules/components required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data integration
  • Understanding of architectural principles and data integration styles
  • Understanding of various types of data models
  • Expertise in data integration tools

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of full SAP project lifecycle
  • Knowledge of coding best practices and a willingness to adapt to best practices
  • Strong integration to and from SAP system environments
  • Understanding of integration standards for data movement, data quality, data cleansing and other ETL and integration related activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to succinctly explain complex topics in varying degrees of depth (i.e. from high level concepts and principles to the lowest level detail)
  • Experience with gap analysis and strategic roadmap/blueprint development
  • Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies
  • Effective time management and organization skills
  • Integration experience with SAP HANA Cloud Platform (Integration Services), SAP Process Orchestrator, SAP Process Integrator, and webMethods platform(s)
