Manager Solution Delivery - RTR

Summary:

Oversees a team in design, development, implementations, and maintenance of oil and gas RTR (Record to Report) application systems to enable business processes and functions to maximize enterprise value and support critical business strategies through secure, reliable, scalable, and agile information technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages and leads a team responsible enabling RTR business processes and functions through technology solution delivery.

  • Responsible for delivering to RTR business processes that include marketing and retail.

  • Offers and delivers agile and scalable solution delivery services aligned with business unit needs and objectives; delivers business solutions that adhere to Tesoro’s security, compliance, architectural standards and risk management practices. Ensures testing best practices are followed for quality assurance of solution delivery.

  • Adopts COBIT 5 framework for SDLC, software development lifecycle to improve the repeatability of high quality solution development; creates solution detail design, configuration, enchantments, testing and deployment as key deliverables

  • Ensures the delivery of projects and Lean Six Sigma initiatives through effective resource and service management; translates business requirements and strategy, into business unit goals, objectives and implements accordingly

  • Advises IT and business managers of trends and events related to technology that have potential implications on Tesoro’s business unit strategic directions and recommends appropriate adaptation and migration strategies.

  • Collaborates with multiple teams including planning and shared services organization to lead the evaluation and implementation of solutions while ensuring that all systems stay current within the constraints of the technology platform. Identifies, evaluates, and implements system standardization.

  • Develops collaborative partnerships with peers and business unit managers based on business and IT values to achieve business unit, department and organizational goals.

  • Builds and maintains high performing team grounded in personal accountability and learning agility through effective goal setting, coaching and development, and performance feedback systems.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in management, computer science, information technology, or related field of study preferred.
  • Possess one or more of the following certifications is preferred: Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, ITIL, TOGAF.
  • Minimum 5 years diversified information technology experience is required.

  • Minimum 5 years diversified oil and gas solution delivery experience is required.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with relative application systems is required.

  • Working experience with SAP S4 HANA applications and integrated non-SAP solutions enabling oil and gas RTR business processes and functions is preferred.

  • Prior experience managing medium to large high performing teams preferred.

  • Experience leading large successful implementation projects preferred.
