SUMMARY:

Works with Operations personnel to provide environmental compliance support for plant and gathering assets in Wyoming, Utah and Colorado. This position works closely with other EHS staff, plant and field operations, and consultants to ensure compliance with federal, state and local air quality, water and waste regulations. Provide essential leadership at the asset level to promote continuous improvement for environmental compliance programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with Operations and EHS staff to support gas plant leak detection and repair program, including component tagging, LDAR contractor QA/QC, remonitoring of repaired components, MOC verification and P&ID mark-ups, etc.
  • Works with Operations and EHS staff conduct infrared camera leak detection inspections and repairs
  • Works with Operations and EHS staff to create and maintain pneumatic device inventory, including verification of device type (intermittent vs continuous bleed) and type of service.
  • Works with Operations and EHS staff for completion and tracking of other miscellaneous air permit requirements
  • May also work with Operations and EHS staff to provide assurance for compliance with storm-water, Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC), waste management and avain protection requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 4 years previous oil and gas experience (6+ preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and be able to deal concurrently with a variety of projects and issues
  • Strong computing skills, in particular Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software
  • Working knowledge of current state and federal environmental regulations applicable to the oil & gas industry
  • AnalyticalSkills Required to translate observed conditions into required actions related to regulatory and permit compliance
  • Technical skills necessary to properly operate a variety of analytical equipment used to monitor and test equipment
  • Strong knowledge of process and maintenance practices
  • Able to read and interpret regulatory requirements
