SUMMARY

The Blend Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and certifying gasoline and diesel blends.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and communicate short term (up to 7 day) detailed gasoline and diesel blending plans.
  • Prepare and communicate short term product shipping plans/vessel load plans.
  • Track and manage component and product inventories and qualities.
  • Provide work direction to Gaugers and Area 4 Shift Supervisor for execution of blends and shipments.
  • Configure gasoline blends in BOSS system and track progress of each blend ensuring minimal product quality giveaway.
  • Certify compliance of product blends with all applicable regulations.
  • Order and manage diesel additive inventory.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum: High School Diploma
  • Demonstrated capability to effectively manage exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of refinery experience.
  • Demonstrated strong skills in communication, troubleshooting and analysis.
  • Strong computerSkills Required (Excel and Access).
  • Strong organizational, communications and time and task managementSkills Required.
